julio Mariño is a dancer, teacher and choreographer with 26 years of dancing and more than 20 years of experience in teaching tango. He has given specialized seminars all over the world in which he teaches tango dance from its mechanical, energetic and emotional aspects. He has developed an innovative method of analysis through which it is possible to understand and develop any type of tango technique and style, which allows him to identify the needs of his students and provide them with quick and precise solutions that accelerate the learning process. He recently published the book El Manual de tango. Bases técnicas para todos los estilos y niveles'. In this book he presents a wide variety of concepts, fundamentals and tools for learning and perfecting the dance, both socially and professionally.

What are the objectives of my tango teaching proposal? 1- To learn to experience the dance as a comfortable and enjoyable activity, in which two people are able to become on. 2 - To understand how the fundamental movements are developed and how they are combined to develop from the simple to the more complex. 3 - To provide the tools to achieve a good technical base, understanding the body, its possibilities, and taking care of the aspects linked to aesthetics and health (avoiding injuries and/or postural vices). 4 - Not to discriminate nor to set standards for styles, allowing this to be the result of a free personal choice. 5 - That each dancer is able to achieve the maximum of his/her abilities in the shortest possible time.
