About Me

Born in Rosario, Argentina, my love of music and movement as self-expression began with studies in music theory and contemporary and latin dance. As a teenager, I was introduced to tango through the milongas of Rosario, which gave me a deep sense of the traditions of tango as expression of culture. I have over 15 years of professional experience teaching, performing and organizing tango events. I have studied in Argentina and the United States with masters such as Roberto Maiolo, Diego Baldanza, Pablo Villarraza, Jorge Torres, and Gustavo Naveira, among others. I currently organize the “Miami Sunshine Tango festival”, Florida Tango Weekend, also teach and DJ’s at milongas in Miami, and all over Florida. In addition, I have brought world-class tango dancers and musicians to the South Florida community such as Sexteto Milonguero, Cachivache, Orchestra La Juan D’Arienzo, La Romantica Milonguera, Miguel Angel Zotto, Los Totis, Sebastian Achaval and Roxana Suarez, Facundo Piñero.

My Proposal

My teaching style focuses on honoring and preserving the tango dancing traditions learned at milongas as a teenager in Rosario, as well as developing techniques for organic movement. As a musician myself, I integrate musicality into even the most basic class, with emphasis on connection and improvisation. I believe it is necessary to educate and train the body in order to be able to express the music - teaching dance as a universal language available for everyone to communicate, create, and have fun.
