Monica Llobet

Monica Llobet has created a world of artistry around Argentine Tango in South Florida. A globally renowned professional Argentine Tango dancer, she has earned numerous recognitions and accomplishments granted by the International Dance Organization including, "World Cup Argentine Tango Champion 2000" in Budapest, Hungary; "World Argentine Tango Champion 2001" in Miami, Florida; and "World Cup Argentine Tango Champion 2001" in Hong Kong, China. As a pioneer of the Argentine Tango community in South Florida, she has founded, promoted and managed successful local and internationally recognized events such as "Alma de Tango", which has produced collaborations with the Ritz-Carlton Cocoanut Grove, Biltmore Hotel of Coral Gables and the Miami Woman's Club. Throughout her successful career, Monica has understudied with top dancers and trainers in many regions around the world, which allows her to provide and transfer a vast and unique amount of experience and nuance to the Tango community
